Shootin’ the Breeze: Balcony garden competition

We are excited to be collaborating with Fiona Maplestone Gardens to design a balcony garden for this year’s Melbourne Flower and Garden Show. Our theme, ‘Shootin’ the Breeze - from Merchants to Modernity’ evokes long summer days in Melbourne. The design is inspired by the 1960s project home builder Merchant Builders whose in-house landscape designer Ellis Stones was a prominent advocate for the integration of external and internal spaces and connections with the Victorian bush.
